This is a Trade Pack of relays & parts for 10 kits which offer incredible savings over purchasing the kits individually. It works out to only £14.00 per kit.
The self switching split charge relay kits are used for charging a second battery from your main vehicle (crank) battery. The relay kits are different from other standard split charge relay kits, in that they monitor the main battery voltage and monitors the second battery voltage and only switch the charge to the secondary battery on when required, so no over charging can take place and also ensures that the main battery charge is maintained and wont leave you with a flat.
Safety First!
The most important part of a circuit is the FUSE! So make sure you install them with the kit. We supply 2 auto fuse holders & 2 auto fuses with every kit.... Why? Double the protection! We protect our kits on both sides of the Self Switching relay. The 1st fuse point is installed a few inches away from the main battery positive and the second fuse point is installed a few inches away from the leisure battery positive. This give you double the protection in the event of a short circuit.
Suitable for any 12V negative earth vehicle, where a second battery needs to be charged
Example of use: If you install a second battery in your vehicle for running additional appliances and need it to be charged from your vehicles existing system. The relay kit is connected between the vehicles main battery (Positive) and the second battery (Positive). The relay controls the charge rate to the second battery to maintain a fully charged state.
